Former Assistant Chief Dr. Sandy Jo MacArthur served with the Los Angeles Police Department for 35 years. During her LAPD tenure, MacArthur oversaw implementation of the 2001 Department of Justice Consent Decree requirements, all entrance level and in-service training, the 9-1-1 center, recruitment and hiring, internal behavioral sciences services, and the internal dispute resolutions program. MacArthur’s expertise revolves around curriculum design, employee wellness, police tactics, and conflict management.
